Mitigation Strategies that will be in place (until further notice) Gym Numbers
We are choosing to stay below the 50% capacity allowed by the NH state Covid-19 guidelines
Our class limit will be 6 students (10 students for our competitive team groups)
No make-ups will be allowed for missed practices. You can, however, attend an open gym at no charge to make up for a missed class. Please call the office to register.
All classes will be staggered so that only one group starts and ends at any given time
Illness precautions- Students and staff
All staff and students’ temperatures will be taken upon entering the gym
Students and staff who have a temperature of 100.4 or above will not be allowed in the gym
Students and staff should stay home if they have other signs of illness OR if other signs of illness are present among family members living in the home
Illness precautions- parents/guardians
We ask that those exposed to someone with Covid-19 remain out of the gym for the appropriate 10-day quarantine period (while monitoring symptoms for the full 14-days). We have adopted the NH Department of Public Services guideline, which is guided by the CDC and NH state responses. Please read the Self-Quarantine Guide
We ask that families that have traveled outside of NH, ME, VT, MA or RI quarantine for the appropriate 10-day period (regardless of method of transportation).
We ask that only one parent/guardian enter the gym. Only the upstairs viewing area is open, and with chairs that are placed 6-feet apart. Direction/flow of traffic will be clearly marked with signage
Parents/guardians will maintain 6-feet of distance from others.
Spectators who are older than 2 are required to wear a mask while in our waiting/common areas (at all times), even when 6-feet of distance can be maintained.
Routine Gym Cleaning and Disinfecting
All those who enter our building must first sanitize their hands using the touch-free station in our entry way
There are six additional, touch-free hand sanitizer stations throughout the gym and lobby areas. Children will be encouraged to wash their hands frequently (and in the bathrooms with soap and water when feasible).
Public water fountain is closed. Students should bring a water bottle. We have water bottle refill stations
All common areas (e.g. lobby, bathrooms, and other high traffic areas) and commonly touched objects (e.g. door handles) will be cleaned/disinfected at a minimum every 2-hours throughout our hours of operation
All mat surfaces and training tools in the gym will be cleaned and disinfected, daily, via electrostatic spray and EPA approved disinfectant for Covid-19.
Our main priority is always safety. Coaches will continue to monitor the physical safety of our students
Coaches will be required to wear a mask if they cannot maintain a safe, 6-foot distance from students/staff.
Our staff will spot/help/assist students in their training
Students are not required to wear masks during physical activity (They are required to wear a mask during transitions, when not in class, and when physical distancing of 6-feet or greater is not possible).
We strongly encourage all students to wear masks as often as possible.
