Heather McGeehanGirl's Team Head Coach, Recreational Program Director
Heather loves all things gymnastics. For the past four decades she has competed, coached, choreographed and judged women’s artistic gymnastics. She competed as a collegiate gymnast at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a degree in Cultural Anthropology. She also attended University of the Arts where she majored in dance.
Heather has been with us for a few years now. She said that she is very excited to be working with the coaching staff at Impact and is thrilled to have the opportunity to affect positive change in the lives of the young women she is working with. Outside of the gym, Heather thoroughly enjoys volunteering on archaeology digs and at wildlife rescue centers. At home you will find her dancing, reading or playing with her pups and reptiles. |
Melissa FraleyGirls Team Technical Director and Development Program Optional Coach
Melissa is an invaluable member of the Impact coaching staff. She has been involved in gymnastics her entire life and has spent the past 15 years coaching competitive athletes, including numerous state and regional champions. Known for her keen eye and attention to detail, Melissa excels in teaching beautiful lines and sound technique.
One of her greatest strengths as a coach is her ability to build strong, meaningful connections with each of the girls she coaches—creating a supportive and motivating environment that helps them thrive. In addition to her coaching career, Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Education and works as a full-time School Counselor at Pembroke Academy. She brings her passion for supporting young people both in and out of the gym, combining her expertise in athletics and education to help students grow with confidence. |
Sydney Spenard Girls Development Program Compulsory Coach
Sydney has been involved in the sport of gymnastics since she was 4 years old. Sydney was a level 8 gymnast when she decided that she wanted to start coaching. She has been coaching gymnastics at Impact since our opening in 2018 and she couldn’t be happier. She said, “I look forward to coaching every day; it’s a family here at Impact. I truly love the sport and knew I couldn’t be away from it." She enjoys watching her athletes grow as people and as gymnasts.
Sydney completed two years at Plymouth University and then transferred to Rivier College to complete her bachelor's in health science. She currently works a full-time job at Concord Orthopedics as a medical assistant. At Impact, she coaches our Level 4 team. Her infectious spirit and positive attitude are tremendous assets to her students and to Impact. She loves helping her team girls at every practice to achieve their goals. |
Sierra Mercer
Girl's Team Xcel Coach, Silver and Bronze
Sierra has been doing gymnastics competitively since she was 7 years old and she was part of the first group of girls to compete for Impact. She also competed in the new sapphire level for her last two years before graduating high school in 2024.
This is Sierra’s second year coaching, she has grown a lot and enjoys it more and more every year. You will see Sierra coaching Xcel levels, helping the DP program, and filling in for other coaches when needed. Sierra loves working out, being in the sun, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite part about coaching is the humorous daily interactions with the girls along with watching them improve and succeed! Impact is lucky to have Sierra on board. |

Alivia Larose Recreational Gymnastics Coach, Preschool Coach
Alivia has been involved with the sport of gymnastics for 13 years and feels like it will always be a big part of who she is. She was a competitive gymnast at Impact before moving into the coaching role here.
Outside the gym, Alivia stays active playing varsity tennis and being involved in her school and community. Alivia enjoys coaching and getting to share her passion for the sport that has shaped her. "Watching individuals grow and gain in confidence is an amazing experience to be part of," said Alivia. The best part of coaching is that she loves watching her students have fun. Alivia brings so much fun to each of her classes! |
Annika Krauchunas Recreational Gymnastics Coach, Preschool Coach
Annika is a junior in high school. She would like to pursue a career in clinical psychology. She has been doing gymnastics since she was 6 years old. She is currently a member of the Impact platinum team and her favorite event is bars.
In addition to gymnastics she competes for her high school’s track team. She runs the 400m, 200m and the 4x1 relay race. She enjoys going out with friends and traveling. If you watch Annika's gymnastics or see her coaching a class, you will notice that she puts a high degree of effort and dedication into both. She is a thoughtful and pleasant person, and we are excited that she is sharing that with our students at Impact! |
Brooke BoyntonShooting Stars Program Coach, Recreational Gymnastics Coach
Brooke has been at Impact for several years. In that time, she has coached preschool classes, Little Stars, Shooting Stars, recreational gymnastics classes, and Girls' Open Team. She said, "It has been amazing to watch the kids learn and grow as gymnasts."
She has been involved in the sport of gymnastics since she was 6-years old. It makes her happy to pass on hard work, dedication, and love for the sport to the next generation of gymnasts. She said, "I love being at Impact!" Brooke has become one of our most valued coaches because she provides consistency, support, structure, and genuine care and concern for the development of each child. She is also going to school to be an x-ray technician. |
Dani PetersShooting Stars Program Coach, Girl's Team Assistant Coach
Dani has been with Impact Gymnastics for 3 years. Dani has over 15 years coaching experience, coaching everything from recreational gymnastics to high level competitive gymnastics. Dani works full time as a child welfare social worker and brings her knowledge of child well-being to every aspect of her coaching. Dani enjoys being able to develop relationships with each student and believes that gymnastics is an opportunity to teach lifelong skills and values.
Dani has two sons and enjoys sharing her passion for the sport of gymnastics with them. In her free time, Dani enjoys spending time with her family, reading until dawn and binge watching her favorite TV Shows. |
Grace DecostaGirls Recreational Gymnastics Coach, Preschool Coach
Grace started gymnastics as a toddler and participated in recreational gymnastics classes and then competitive gymnastics until she was 9. Her favorite thing about gymnastics is being challenged with learning new skills. She also loves playing tennis and skiing.
This is Grace's first-year coaching and she is very excited about it. When working with her students, she hopes to inspire them to love the sport as much as she did as a young child. Grace strives to make sure that each athlete will be supported through their ups and downs. She also hopes to connect with them not only as a coach but as a person that they can look up to. |
Hazen ChouinardBoys Recreational Gymnastics Coach
Hazen started gymnastics when he was young ( around 6 years old), and he stuck with it for several years. When he was 10-years old, he made the decision to try other sports. However, he could not stay away from gymnastics for too long. When he was 15, he made a return to the sport that he once enjoyed. He quickly got back into gymnastics shape, and he competed for the Impact boy's team last year. This year will be his second year competing for Impact!
Outside of the gym, he enjoys snowboarding, lacrosse and golf. Hazen played lacrosse and golf for Bishop Brady High School. Hazen said that he really enjoys seeing his students learn new skils, not only gymnastics skills but life skills such as good listening and being part of a team. He enjoys having fun in his classes and connecting with his students. "Seeing each kid get better and better each class makes me very happy." |
Katelyn MeadeRecreational Gymnastics Coach
Katelyn is a sophomore in high school. Katelyn has been involved in gymnastics since she was 9 years old. She is a competitive gymnast at Impact in the diamond level. She qualified for Regional championships twice, in the gold and platinum levels.
You will see Katelyn coaching classes, working birthday parties, facilitating open gyms, and volunteering with Impact’s special athletes program. She loves all of her roles. She said that she enjoys working with students and seeing their progress and growth as "little human beings." We are incredibly fortunate to have Katelyn's responsibility, excitement, and dedication! In her free time, she enjoys socializing with friends, doing her nails, and shopping. |
Lucas TopliffRecreational Gymnastics Coach and Boys Advanced Instructor
Lucas is a junior in high school. He started gymnastics when he was 3 years old. He has been involved in gymnastics for the last 13 years. When he was 5, he moved over the competitive side of gymnastics; he now competes for Impact as Level 10 gymnast. For the last two seasons, Lucas qualified to the Development Program National Championships.
Lucas started coaching over the summer 2025. While he is relatively new to coaching, he is a hard-worker and he genuinely cares about helping his students succeed. He brings that same devotion to the boy's team as one of our leaders! He said that he enjoys helping his students learn new skills. In his free time, which is pretty sparse these days, he enjoys playing guitar and working on his photography skills. |
Noreen AdairPreschool Gymnastics Coach, Office Assistant
Noreen found her love of working with children when she started coaching gymnastics in 2004. Throughout college and her seven years working in an office setting, she still found herself finding ways to work with children.
She has 10 years of experience in childcare and has been coaching gymnastics off and on since 2004. She also has a son and twin daughters. Her son is on the boy's competitive team at Impact. Noreen has quickly become a well-loved coach because of her fun energy, excitement for coaching, and joy for coaching each student. She also helps around the gym in many other ways! |
Rebecca LewineGirls Recreational Gymnastics Coach
Rebecca has been coming through the doors of Impact since before it was Impact and she was in a preschool class with Sharron. She began competing gymnastics six years ago when she was in sixth grade. She is now a senior in high school and competes in the Xcel program as a Diamond athlete.
In addition to enjoying the sport of gymnastics, she is involved in numerous clubs at her high school including peer outreach and math team. She is also interning as a student teacher in math and science. Rebecca said that she really enjoys working with kids and putting together with my passion for gymnastics. Those two things together result in her absolute love for coaching. We are absolutely thrilled to have Rebecca as one of our coaches! |
Talia BergerRecreational and Preschool Gymnastics Coach
Talia started gymnastics when she was 5 years old. She left the sport when she was 14 when as a level 8 gymnast. She is not currently involved in any organized sports, though she does work two jobs and said, "I put all my effort into them." She did try lacrosse after stopping gymnastics, but she quickly realized that her passion for gymnastics could not be matched.
She loves coaching gymnastics because "being back in the gym brings out my childhood energy again, and I am happy to try and achieve being the coach young girls look up to." Talia has only been coaching at Impact for a short time, yet she has already become a trusted, hard-working and dedicated coach. She loves learning new coaching techniques to bring those to her students. |
Valerie BrodiePreschool, Recreational, and Stars Gymnastics Coach
Marketing and Events Coordinator Coach Val said, "I love being active!" She grew up in CA and did gymnastics in her youth including one season of competition. She also swam, played water polo, dove, and was a dancer. She also was a preschool teacher.
At present, she is an AFFA Group Fitness Instructor. She loves teaching Zumba, Bootcamp and the occasional yoga/mobility pop-up class in her hometown of Deerfield through Parks and Rec. Val is married with four boys. She said, "life sometimes seems like a whirlwind with my boys sports schedules, school, balancing friend and family time and work. But I embrace it and find joy in the journey!" |
